I was born along the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Northern Laos.  I joined the Royal Lao Army SGU under the command of Major General Vang Pao for the CIA in 1972 to 1975 and continued on until 1978.  I came to Thailand for a few months and went back to Laos as an intelligence officer to collect information regarding to the treatment of our former SGU members who were left behind with their families by the communist in Laos from 1978 to 1980.

Early 1973, I went to SGU Military Boot Camp Base in Mongcha, Xiengkhouang for six months and to Thailand for further combat training.

I received my High School Diploma in June 1983 in Seattle, Washington and another higher Diploma from Lakeshore Technical College in 1992 in Cleveland, Wisconsin.

I was elected to  the Election Committee Chair of Hmong Wisconsin 18 Council, Inc. 2010.

Currently, I voluntarily serve for many organizations such as:

1. Lao Human Rights Council, Inc.  
2. Hmong Wisconsin18 Councils, Inc.
3. United Hmong International 18 Councils, Inc.
4. Wisconsin Lao Veterans of American, Inc.
5. A member of AUSA Organization
6. SGU Veterans and Families Development of USA, Inc.

I am a NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Certified Private Security Officer and Instructor.

I had been Awarded the following SGU Medals and Ribbons:

1.  TET Offense  Medal

2.  Vietnam Campaign Ribbon

3.  Republic of Vietnam Service Ribbon

4.  Army Good Conduct Ribbon
