Colonel SomXai Vue has become the great asset on a scale of both locally and nationally.  He was awarded the 2010 Asian American Heroes of Colorado on May 15th, 2010 for this great leadership and services in the community at large.

Colonel Vue currently, Chair of the National Hmong Grave Desecration Committee Colorado Chapter, Chief Executive Officer for the Vue National Association, Inc., Board Director for National Association of Asian American Professionals Colorado (NAAAP Colorado), Senior Advisor for Vue Family Association of Colorado, and volunteer with Project CURE.

Colonel SomXai Vue, formerly elected President for the Hmong American Association of Colorado, and the Hmong in Colorado, former President for the Vue Family Association of Colorado, Inc., and is the first youngest president for both of the organizations.  He is Co-founder of the Hmong Colorado Radio, and served as Producer and Programs Director.

Colonel Vue, actively involved with the Hmong, Laos and other Asian American communities in various aspects and served on the following additional roles:

• Board of Director & Public Relations officer, HMAAC
• Project Manager, CDBF
• Advisor, HND’s 13th Hmong National Conference, Denver Colorado

• Treasurer, Hmong Colorado New Year Committee
• Chairman, Annual Hmong Couple Gala

Colonel SomXai holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Technology from the University of Denver (DU) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Management from Metro State College of Denver.  He is presently working for a law firm in Downtown Denver as an Information Technology Manager.
